RC Level Kit install question - Hub/brake hang by CV and lower Ball-jo

I have the old style RC level kit that came with the 3 metal spacers for a total of 2". One was 1" with the other two spacers being 1/2" each.

I am currently running just the 1" spacer which pretty much leveled my truck. I'm thinking I want to put one of the 1/2" spacers on the front and then go with a GMT-800 rear 2" block to replace my 1.75" GMT-900 block for a little more height and go with something a little bigger than my stock 275/55 R20's. Probably something like a 275/60 r20 (33) or 285/55 r20. I just want a little bigger than stock.

My question is on the install. The RC instructions say to remove the upper ball joint nut and tie-rod end to allow the lower control arm to hang low enough to slip in the spacer. In the videos I've seen they just let the whole hub assembly roll over and just hang there basically by the lower ball joint and CV. Is that ok to do and will it hurt anything?

I recently replaced my factory struts with Bilstein HD/4600's and it was a bear to get the 1" spacer in there because I didn't take off the upper ball joint nut and tie-rod because I didn't want to just let it hang and put too much stress on anything. Even though the 1/2" spacers is actually only a 1/4", it's going to be really tight.

So is there any harm in letting the whole hub/brake assembly just hang there with just the lower ball joint and CV holding it?

It doesn't hurt anything, I did it to my 13, and really like the kit, I didn't install the upper strut spacer that came with the kit, just the lower spacer and rear blocks. I wanted to maintain a rake so I can pull without that ugly, stupid, nose to the sky look that leveled trucks get when loaded.
