Philippines is a poor country from what I've seen on TV and heard from Filipinos. I've been to Hong Kong many many times and many of the Filipinas there come to Hong Kong to be house maids. But the average salary there can't pay for the truck..

The trucks get imported to all manner of countries. It may have been imported by a American serviceman stationed there or just by someone who likes trucks. Average pay is meaningless, there are wealthy people everywhere after all.

Anything can be imported as long as its "legal" lol I was hoping one day I can transport a Chevy silverado to Hong Kong and drive it around turning heads..hehehehe

They have big buses that fit in a normal sized lane, why not a Chevy Silverado lol. Plus this thing is on my bucket list: driving a Chevy Silverado in Hong Kong.
