Yea I plan to get in there with a small screw driver and straighten up what I can.

Got the belt and tensioner for the A/C on this morning after I went to find some bolts. It works so it must be the correct one.

Well she's all hooked up an running. Great oil pressure compared to the old motor. Only problem is that the shift cable broke, and now I have to wait for a new one. Ugh! It's always something.

Thanks! Hoping it's a good engine like the original one. It makes some lifter noise, but i think that's the usual with alot of these motors. Even if it would need new lifters in a few years it's not really that hard of a job. I think it'll be fine though.

Got the truck out of the garage today. Bought a new shift cable, and installed it this morning. Paid a small fortune for it, and it was a real pain to install, but it's all fixed now. Still haven't test drove the truck yet though. Got the cable in just before I had to leave for work.

Test drive new engine or go to work? You made the wrong choice lol

Haha! As much as that cable cost me I figured it'd be best to go to work lol!

Just ordered a set of Powerstop brake rotors. I need front brakes bad, and they're the only thing I need to get the state inspection done this month.

I put those on the rear of my truck. Fronts will have those once they come time in the future!

Have they been a good rotor for you? I was originally going to go with Powerslot rotors because I've had them before, but I don't have the $300 to fork out for rotors right now. I read a lot of good reviews on the ones I bought so I figured I'd just give them a try. Edited by Daryl Z71
