Haha! It's going faster than I thought it would too. By the way, I have those manifold clamps off the old motor ready for whenever you want them.

Got the engine in and bolted down and the transmission bolted back up. Everything underneath the truck is hooked back up. Won't have the truck running until next weekend. Ran out of time to button it up today. Had to take the intake manifold off the new motor to get the transmission bolts back in at the top, and had to take the water pump off to get the front of the motor to clear the radiator support. The last picture is where I stopped for the day.

I also got all the new A/C system parts replaced including the seals, along with cleaning out the lines.

Awesome progress! Although you should have gotten all new hoses while you can.

Are you still on the original radiator?

Was thinking about new hoses today. I might get some this week. They seem pretty good yet. No idea on the radiator. Would have bought a new one of those too, but work is slow right now. I did order a new ACDelco coolant tank and cap.

Decided to take my radiator to the local shop tomorrow to have it cleaned out and inspected. I figured for $25 might as well do it.

Got the radiator out and taken to the shop this morning. Also got the waterpump and pulley on. That's all I had time for.

So, I think I bought the wrong A/C belt tensioner... I didn't notice until now, but on another website it's listed as one used on the hybrid Silverado. Mine is all steel and smooth, and i think the one I need is grooved. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Mine is smooth. Should run on the smooth side of the belt.

Does it look like this?

Went this morning and picked up the radiator from the shop. $20 to clean it. Got it installed back into the truck, and the new coolant tank and cap came so I installed those also.
