gmc sierra trim removal

hey guys I'm new to the site and i have a few questions about removing some of the interior trim on my 09 Denali. i want to know if the wood surround on the steering wheel will come off and will the wood piece on the console come off as well. i want to hydro dip them carbon fibre "don't like the wood" any advice is appreciated thanks.

No idea about the steering wheel. Around the console (you talking radio/A/C area?) With that, you start with a small screw driver and pry it out on one corner, and work around. It's held in with metal clips.

Pick up a plastic trim removal kit ($10 max) at any automotive store and use that to pry the trim so you do not damage it.

im talking about the "wood" piece on the center arm-rest between the seats
