It's not like you have a choice any more anyway? How does your frame look?

I'm pretty pleased with my Double Cab assembled in Roanoke, IN (Ft Wayne Assembly).

My sons 2012 Silverado CC assembled in Flint has been trouble free. Something not many can say about the 2014's in either configuration.

I haven't looked at it, to be honest. The truck in general is awesome.

As a side note, a railroad runs right between the travel lanes of our second busiest freeway. It very often has trains hauling truck frames on flatbed train cars going to somebody's factory. We really have a world-wide economy these days.

I'm very happy with my Silao built High Country crew cab. As I said in the other thread on this topic, I've had three crew cab 1500 trucks built at Silao, two GMT-900's and my current K2XX. They have all been trouble-free except for a few minor things. My '09 crew cab LTZ only had the power lock actuators on the rear doors fail and a crack in the dash, both of those were common problems with the 900's. I've had two Flint built trucks, my '14 2500HD Silverado and an '06 2500HD Sierra. My '14 HD is downright pathetic from a build quality standpoint, it rattles worse with 3,800 miles on it than my '09 1500 did with 100,000 on it. The upper glove box cover isn't lined up right either, there is rusty water dripping out of the weather stripping inside the door jamb ( still waiting on the dealer to order parts to fix they say it's on backorder) and the brakes squeak like an old POS. My '06 was a good truck, wish I'd never sold it in fact. We got a great deal on it back in 2006 and with the way the LBZ's seem to hold their value I could have sold it for almost what I bought it for new. The only problem's I had with that truck were the radio buttons wearing to the point where the "seek" "volume" and favorites "1" "2" "3" etc were no longer legible.

Just blind, unfounded racism. I am sure the plant in Mexico puts out the exact same quality in vehicles as the American plants. The workers just do the same jobs for less.

It is crazy how many claims people make that are taken for facts when they are completely unsubstantiated. Blanket statements of foreign manufacturing quality with no proof whatsoever. Just blind assumption.

This has nothing to do with racism I assure you.
