Opinion on Wheels for a Pewter color.

I recently just got a great deal on a used chevy. It's a 2002 Ext. Cab 1500 with only 60k miles on it and couldn't pass it up. The truck is in perfect condition. I'm just wondering if anybody has a pewter color truck with aftermarket wheels and was interested in what it looked like to give me an idea towards what I should get for mine.

Looks good! And that mileage is to die for.

Although they I would remove the chrome strips on the fenders and the steps since she sits so low anyways....

And a black interior is so "clean" looking. Take care of it!

That looks like my old truck, minus the salt rot on the rockers! I think I'd go with gloss black. It'd set off the pewter nicely.

With that color I would get a machined finish wheel. When I had my gray Sierra the machined finished wheels look great. Not too flashy but still had a nice shiny finish to them.

Are you going for a street look or more of an offroad look?

Personally, with a 12 year old truck I would first make sure to take care of all maintenance issues before thinking about aftermarket wheels.

Do you have any oil leaks? Perfect suspension? There are so many things to do IMO.

Everything is up to date as far as maintenance goes. I've already removed the chrome and the brown bug guard in the front which I think really took away from the appearance of the truck, plus that thing was so old it broke into three pieces after I lightly dropped on the ground from about a foot up lol. But I'm gonna go for more of a street look in a way since it's 2wd no point in going for the off-road. I'm gonna get a 2" leveling kit and probably run 275/55/20. As far as wheels goes I was thinking chrome because I'm not to sure how black wheels would look on my truck.

Well I guess not really considered a street look but whatever haha. Not gonna look very off-road because I don't plan on going with an aggressive tire.
