In-channel Vent Visor Question?

I went to the local accessory shop and was told the in-channel vent visors did not work on the 2014 sierra. Something about the rear windows would sense something in the channels and would not completely go up before coming back down? I am pretty sure I have seen some on the forum. Any recommendations?

I have them and one of the rears blew off... Total garbage..

Glad to hear this. Which brands do you have? The AVS or weahtertecs?

I have weather tech front and rear and have had no problems. The rears use clips to help hold them. Be very careful installing them. I cracked on of the rears. Then watched the install video on weather tech's site and tired again with no problems at all. weather tech sent me a new set anyway. i'll use them as backup if something fails.

Weathertechs all around doin 80+ with the windows all down and mine are still on there.

 

Every once in a blue moon if the windows have been down for a long period of time the drivers front auto up will bump the visor And go back down, but this has only happend 2 or 3 times in the last 3 months.

where did you find the $20 rebate for the AVS?

I had the factory ones (AVS I belueve?) and the drivers side front would go up on express up then go back down. And every time I opened them they made a cracking noise like when your window is frozen and breaks free. That turned out to be the glue left from a sticker the installer did not take off. The glass was sticking to the visor everytime I closed the window.

They also scratched the glass within 2 weeks. I took them off and got stampede ones instead. I will never use in sill ones again myself.

Advance Auto. I was in Auto Zone yesterday and they have 20$ off.
