I am installing an aftermarket brake controller to my 14 sierra. I have the tow package,just not the factory controller

 

 

Do I still need to add the fuse under the hood for trailer 12v power like the last body style? Or did Gm smarten up and already add the power fuse? Thx

The truck has a plug under the dash, if you look on Amazon you can find a brake controller with the plug and play cord. I put it on my truck, super easy!!!! Just plugs right into the truck under the dash and you are ready to go.
