THE GREAT WHITE MODIFICATION

So far I've installed on my 2014 Silverado 1500 V8 5.3L 4x4 Double Cab ALL-STAR Edition

 

●Plastic dip front & rear emblems, rims (18 inch), and as well as the grille.

●Avs inchannel vent smoked front and back doors

●N-Fab wheel-to-wheel textured black

●Weathertech front (1 piece) and rear molded floor mats

●Huskey Gearbox for double cab

●Black vinyl for B-post (between front window and passenger rear window)

●Undercover Flex tonneau cover(6.5 ft bed)

●2x 7 inch light bar reverse lights

 

First day I got the truck, then the modification began.

Cheap mod plastic dip $5.30 a can and some scotch tape and 4 coats later.

3 cans of plastic dip and 4 trash bags to cover brake pad and scotch tape over lug nuts and also 4 coats and for the grille it was totally removed so I could get all the chrome painted.

I installed 2x 7 inch reverse lights, tapped into my reverse light and on a 3 way switch.

my N-FAB steps each to install, and gives it a nice touch.

Tonneau cover had dealer install each to use and keeps my ramps safe while four wheeling.

Weathertech floor mats. Wow so much easier to clean. Great all around.

The Gearbox helps a lot with jumper cables and just keeping your truck neat to the naked eye.

Yes the wheels were still on the truck. I got a garbage bag over the rotors and brakes and scotch tape the lug nuts. search on YouTube plastic dip your car and see the videos. And don't forget to wash the rim good.

This is a husky gearbox for a double cab. A crew cab will be much larger. But great for organizing your truck.

Looks great. I added a stack of three M12 stainless washers under both brackets for the rear underseat storage bin. This raised it just enough to make getting the Weathertech in and out from under it a breeze.

Let's see, it holds my hitch, bungee cords, tie down straps, tow straps, jumpers, defense stick (cut off shovel handle), tire shine.....lots of tire shine, mist & wipe, window cleaner, California car duster, lots of micro fiber towels.

That's just off the top of my head. If I ever need to pull ya out of the mud then clean my truck, I'm ready

LOL, this SO sounds like my list! I've noticed lately that I'm critical of interior rattles n such...but upon further reflection it's just crap I have in my DuHa! I really should plan my storage better. On the upside, I'm fully prepared for the zombie apocalypse.

Most of my crap goes in the bed of my trucks. I run a topper on my trucks since I use it for hunting. But yeah, I can see the duster being in the cab for an emergency cleaning.
