New 2014 Silverado 1500 double cab lt 4.3 looking for real owners with real data to give me. Actual fuel mileage. Towing capabilities. I won't be towing huge loads with just 16" trailer with 3 atvs. Thanks for help!

I have a work truck double cab 4x4 with the 4.3. It gets me anywhere from 18.1-20.5. That's all mixed driving and hand calculated results. I have not towed with it yet, but have no fears it will pull everything I need it to do and it sounds like it will for you as well. I have zero regrets getting the v-6.

I have a 14 LT double cab with 4.3

2 wheel drive.

 

When I view my trip computer I see 19.8.

This is about a 5k mile average.

 

I dont stomp the gaspetal when the light turns green, and stay under 80 on the highways,

I drive 12 miles each way city for work and about 50% of my driving is on the highway.

I pull a 17 mako boat with a merc 90, with little to no difficulty. I use salt water ramps, which are steaper that fresh water ramps due to tide changes. No issues what so ever. Pulling the boat, I'd guess about 10mpg, never tried to get a measurement.

I have a slt z71 4x4 5.3 w/3.42's and when I had the stock 18" tires and I towed 2 atv's on a 5x8 trailer for 500 miles or so on the highway I was getting about 15mpg at 70-80mph on pretty much flat land and sea level.

Thanks for all the info. Friday I bought the truck it's a double cab lt with all star pack really love the truck. Gas mileage so far seems really good. The average for the 180 I've driven it is 24.4 mpg so I'm pretty happy about that!
