Yea, seems like snake oil. And there is a very high chance it would void the warrenty since it is not OEM equipment, or approved by GM.

Beside it plugs into the fuel rail harness so it's not a program. Easy to take on and off before being serviced.

I bought my truck used w/10k miles on it so if anything is detected I can hopefully switch the blame.

I would stay far away from any modules. A good tune from a known vendor in your area is the safest and best route to go.

Keep in mind that if this type of junk worked wouldnt you think vehicle manufactures would be all over this. And another thing is people will go out and pay hundreds of dollars on a tune to get maybe just maybe 2 mpg better mpg and don't think how long (years) to even start seeing a return on there money spent on the tune to get better mpg.

The advertising seems to make sense. If the diesel engines are tuned for emissions rather than fuel mileage then maybe they can improve mileage by tweaking the program. However all you guys that use this will have to be arrested by Homeland Security and EPA for contributing to the delinquency of Global Warming
