Which would look better?

A diamond plate tool chest (sits below rails) in black or chrome? This will be going in a black truck. I know the chrome ones will eventually get a dull look from the sun but then again I guess the black will fade in the sun. What do you prefer or have in your trucks?

Well , On my truck I have the brite tread (polished aluminum diamond tread)

 

the diamond tread looks good in the chrome or polished aluminum
