calgator73 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Nht has 3 springs in each pack. It looks like 2 normal load bearing springs and 1 overload. This is supposed to be different than the other models. Anyone take a look off theirs and post up? Thanks
Chris Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 That is what I have seen on the normal trucks as well
calgator73 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 Thx...exploring enhancement options if the stable loads don't work. Called sdtrucksprings. They have an add a leaf that provides 2" of lift. Considering that minus the factory lift block.
Chris Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Myself on my 04, I deleted the block and added the 2500HD 4/1 pack
Spurshot Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I'd go with air bags. The NHT springs are only worth a few hundred pounds. They will ride harder.
calgator73 Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 I've got the Nht package now. When looking at aftermarket parts it is very hard to tell what will/won't fit. Not denigrating bags...not for me. Good setup is nearly 3x the cost of other solutions. Got the stableloads today but after reading the instructions there's not enough clearance to use all the wedges. Might just add a spring to each pack.
Chris Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Kept same rake? Gained 1/4" of height in the back
CAtaylor Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Thx...exploring enhancement options if the stable loads don't work. Called sdtrucksprings. They have an add a leaf that provides 2" of lift. Considering that minus the factory lift block. It is going to ride rough while unloaded. I have an add a leaf with my pro comp lift; I am looking for other alternatives. Just to jumpy on choppy roads. With a load they are good but I don't haul stuff 24-7.
