LED Glow tailgate light bar install questions

I am installing a 60" LED Glow light bar with reverse leds under the tailgate on my 2014 GMC Sierra AT. I have it mounted and currently plugged into the 4 pin "blade" plug. I want to hard wire it but the wire colors from the LED light bar do not directly match the trailer harness wire colors. before I cut into the wires I would like to know what wire on the truck corresponds to the yellow, green, white, and brown wires from the light bar. Granted I was only looking directly behind the license plate where it plugs in. Second question would be which is the positive wire for the reverse light bulb? I see three wires coming out of the reverse light bulb, two black and one green and no easy way to tell which is positive without cutting into each wire while the light is on.

Look into getting a t connector you don't have to splice all those wires then

That would work, just need to figure out which wires are left, right, brake and running lights.

Any luck figuring this out? You already answered the question on if a 60" would fit our trucks.
