lower bumper trim

Is the part circled in red easily removable or does it require the removal of the entire front bumper? I couldn't find anything on it.

I'd like to find out myself.. but searching images on the web have turned up two different versions of the front bumper, Both of these version are on a GMC truck, but one is plain simple while the other looks to be a chrome applique which I'd like to find for our 015 Colorado.. But I do see some design differences.. the GMC is more at a 90 degrees.. while the Colorado flares out more.. Not sure these two parts can be interchangeable.. but I'd be interested if you're able to have that trim piece removed.

I swapped my chrome one for black...

Did it without removing bumper but it was a bitch...
