Yes, what year?

 

Theft lock on 1999.5-2002 trucks for sure. Has to go to dealer to unlock when power is disconnected.

For a pre 2003 GM theft loc radio you can just unlock it yourself with a simple procedure

found by doing a search.

 

2003 and up theft-locs units are VIN# locked and require a trip to the dealer and the Tech 2

machine.
