My great grandpa drove a Chevy truck. My grandpa followed suit with several more. My dad took the torch and still drives one today. Now I have taken the plunge and followed the footsteps of my fore-fathers by purchasing one as well.

I test drove almost every other brand looking for what fit me the best (did not get into a Tundra even though I really wanted to) and the Chevy was overall the best fit for me. I have never owned a truck before but always wanted one. I am very excited to dive into these boards and learn about my new truck as well as some things I want to change about it.

Question: Come February I will be looking to upgrade the HU and sound system from the Bose premium to something that is Satellite/NAV ready (big touch screens are fun). Are there a lot of options out there that are compatible for my truck? Budget will be in the 1k-1.3k range.

If it was me, I would get the OGM1 since it has most if not all of the factory integration. I am not that familiar with it, but check out the posts about it in the stereo forum....
