2008 Silvy drivers door inside handle cable

The inside door handle cable broke at the inside handle. Is there an inexpensive way to fix it? The handle is fine. If not is the cable a dealer only item? Thank you guys in advance. MRTJET.

Doorman does make a replacement inside door handle for the 900 series trucks now for both the drivers and passengers doors

My money says it's the little plastic clips that hold the rod into the latch that broke. Take the door panel off and figure out what broke and start looking for the replacement. If it is the little plastic clips (again, very likely that it is) either buy them at a gm dealer or go pay 2 bucks for some out of a junkyard. Good luck!

All I meant was before ya had to buy an entire door panel , or ya can make it work if funds are limited , that's what I meant
