Hey everyone,

I'm Tony. Just bought my first truck. 1995 GMC K1500 SB Z71 with the TBI 350 and 4x4. Front Leveling kit, Flowmaster header back exhaust. AT rebuilt in march 2014 and 123000 original miles

PICS

I recently moved to a rural area and after being a first time homeowner for a couple months, starting to realize how handy having a truck can be! I've had several sedans and smaller cars in the past, and still have one as a daily driver, but I have a feeling that I'm going to like driving a truck the more I do it.

I'm looking forward to learning from everyone and hopefully will be able to contribute some of my experience too.

Going to keep her mostly stock, I think. in January I plan to tag her historic, keep the registration cost down, since it's a second vehicle. She needs a few minor repairs: front brake hoses, pitman arm, leaky rear brake line over the diff, possible vacuum leak, since she's running lean too. I plan to do most of the stuff myself, but might have the shop do the pitman arm, since I've read it can be tricky on the 4x4 models.

Let me know what you think!

Tony

Yes sir! I wasn't so sure about living here when I first took the job, but so far I'm really enjoying it! I'm from the DC Metro area originally, and I didn't realize how enjoyable the commute to work could be :)

My good friend lives there as well. He operates a jam up guide service for geese and ducks! I'll be up that way around June!

Good stuff! If you get a chance, send me his info. Been looking for a duck guide.

There is a link in my OP. Tried to add them to the post, but images were too big :dunno:
