Leveling kit debate

I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for advice on my new truck. It's a 2014 GMC Sierra SLE Z71 4wd. This is my first new truck and I love it. The rear sits about 3 inches higher in the back than the front and have been told a level kit will make it more even and make it look better. What are the pros and cons? Les Schwab wants 300 to do it. Is this price good or high? Any advice would help me out. Thanks in advance

I haven't heard any cons if the kit is put on correctly and an front end alignment is done right away. Pros, well, it does look a lot better!

Your gas mileage might suffer. I lost about .5 mpg highway but remained about the same in town. I didn't buy my truck for mileage though

Price is fair although I wouldn't pay that. I would also recommend using the search feature in this forum.

isnt the RC level kit only $60?

is that $300 installed with alignment? that may justify the price...personally if i do level mine ill be installing myself then go for a alignment.
