maybe this can become a sticky for us 2wd folks with or want suspension lift kits.

post up some pics of your setup and describe what you have. (2wd only)

I am in market for a 4" kit and want to see how they look on the 2wd.

I have a 2014 z71 Silverado crew cab 2x4

thanks

i kid you not, i had no clue they made a z71 2wd version.

as for the look of the truck, it would probably sit 1" lower than a 4x4.

Mine is a 2WD Z71. Not many out there though. Also, it does not sit lower than the 4WD in stock form.

SBC has bigger tires. Also looks like air dam is removed. Thats why it looks better and taller. :driving:

Haha geez thanks man.jk. I agree the larger tires make a diff. Waitin for his responses with setup details.

I have a 4" ready lift on order ;) merry Christmas to myself. It should make a noticeable diff than the 2.5

Posting so I'll remember tonight; I have 6" suspension, and going higher in the next few weeks. Will post details and pictures.

And the 2wd does not sit any lower whatsoever. Confirmed by measuring the 3 2014s (pre lift) in my driveway.

Diggman08, post some pictures when you get it on. Cant wait to see. I wanted to do the RC 3.5 after I saw one on a truck in town. I like my 2.5 better than stock but I like the look of the RC 3.5 now.

I was going to do the RC 3.5 but I heard it was not a very good lift, from folks on this site. i would say in order of quality and build for these type of lifts. RC<Fabtech<Readylift

not sure if anymore out there.

yeah tis ill get pics up i have the wheels coming also like yours. just debating on which tires to get now

maybe BFG KO or KO2 or NITTO TrailGs
