Truxedo interchangable?

I have the ability to pick up a used and most importantly FREE truxedo lo pro from a good friend. He just recently sold his 2008 silverado and wanted to see if i had any use for it. I have a 2014 Silverado with same size 6.5' bed. I know the part numbers between the two are different but anyone know or have tried to fit one from a late model?

Yes, it will work, it doesn't fit perfectly, but pretty good. I am using a lo pro from my 2008, 2012, and 2013 on my 2014 and it still looks like new.

Lucky man. I have been nothing but pleased with my Lo Pro QT. I installed in 14 months ago, and it still looks brand new.

AS said it is off by about a 1/4"-1/2" at max but will work. I used my Extang Revolution cover from my 2010 on my 2014 truck.
