Flowmaster 40 Series

So being in my sickly state with the flu and all, I've decided to cheer myself up by ordering a flowmaster 40 series original from truckperformance.com. I hope it get it before spring break cause then i'll be able to install it and post some pics. If not, I'll have the pics for you guys in a few weeks. I plan on having the loudest truck here in Boulder!

If you want LOUD, I think you may be disappointed. If you want a deep muscle sound then you'll be happy. That's just my opinion though and Mufflers generate a lot of different opinions.

I agree, I have the 40 series on the Blazer. While not what I would call loud, the growl you get when you hit the go-pedal can't be beat.

Nope flowmasters are not loud at all. I have two 40 series on the truck. It's too quite. I can't deal with it anymore I'm going to cut the mufflers off and go back to glasspacks.. Cut the cats off and heat the packing out of them like I didn't the Z-71 and weld in cut out's... I like it to talk. The only problem with that is the torque goes up on the rpm band. Oh well it will still be lower than the new Hemi's..
