door latch problem! help please

My 04 sierra extended cab has developed an electric issue. When I open my drivers door while truck is on, the interior lights come on and they shut off when I close it. When I shut the truck off with the radio on and open drivers door, the radio goes off. This is all normal.

 

The problem is in the passenger door. None of these functions work. No lights when door opens and radio stays on. Is the switch bad?

In my 07 (GMT900) silverado, and my step dads 02 tahoe, the passenger door doesn't turn off the radio,only the driver side does. Not sure about the lights.

I think the lights are your only issue but there may be something in the programming for vehicle exit. I think my 03 2500hd had some programming for that at least...

Our 00 suburban shuts off radio and lights come on with any door opening. I've heard of problems with the rap switch or something like that. I'll have to do some more research
