I interpreted it more of a break-fix perspective.

 

but it also makes sense from a depreciation perspective.

 

Would be interesting to see what the 2016s do. considering the trend of there being more and more chrome on them I predict an all-chrome 2016 package.

Just was talking to a friend and they are a supplier of GM Parts. He said they have been making new bumpers for the 16's for a little while now and they are totally different. He told me they had to much backlash about the design being the same as the older ones and then when you compare this to Fords all new design it looks like Chevy didn't try especially after having 7 years to design this. I used to agree with everything I just said but now after having the Silverado z71 with no chrome all over the grill I like the design wayyyy better. I do think the chrome is overdone and just looks cheap but whatever.

 

-I guess they only make the bumper and it does have the same fitment holes as the 14-15's but the way the grill is going to change a little will make it most likely impossible to fit these new parts to our trucks.
