Bench seat back angle adjustment?

Recommended Posts

I'm 6'7" and have my seat pretty far back. I noticed when I purchased the truck there seems to be no angle adjustment or anything for the back of the bench seat. I'm curious why that is, since it would have been pretty trivial to add in a simple adjuster.

Has anyone figured out a way to do this? I have zero shoulder comfort with the center up.

Any ideas or input would be appreciated. Doesn't have to be on the fly adjustments, I'd settle for something semi-permanent.

There is an adjustment. The big handle on the side if it's not power, and the middle paddle switch if it is.

Wait there's a paddle for he center section? I'm referring to the jumper seat, I don't know if I was clear.

no there is no adjustement .....he probably think you talk about your seat

for the bench seat you can't ajust it but if you are handy you can work on it ( dremel tool) and make it backward more but it will be definitive ...otherwise if you mod it you won't be able to put it as oem anymore

the way it work it's a small pin that travel in a slot .......you extend the slot and you can put more backward .......then if you want it as oem you will have to weld what you dremeled or replace the part you worked on it

sorry for bad english

Sorry, I didn't know you were talking about the jumper seat. There is no adjustment for that. Some people here have removed it altogether and even replaced it with the center console. I can see that it might be in the way of your shoulder.
