Having a bit of an issue tracking down the site, but basically you are just looking for a GM OEM parts site, and then when you select your truck just say you already have a 6.2l then you can browse replacement parts including motors and transmissions.

Here is an example: http://www.newgmparts.com/auto-parts/2014/gmc/sierra-1500/slt-trim/6-2l-v8-gas-engine/engine-cat/engine-scat

Ill keep searching for the site I had found with it priced lower

The price of ~$5,800 for the 6.2 does not include the core charge of $2,500. Or the electrical engine harness, ecu, exhaust manifold. So a full swap will probably run you around $11k plus labor. However it might make more sense to go ahead and upgrade some items like the headers and exhaust. I'd imagine a oem exhaust manifolds would be right around $1.5k, upgrading to some American Racing Headers would make more sense.

If I were to do an engine swap in my k2, I would build the shit outta that motor and then add them turbas, show them ecoboosts what power really is lol

Yea, spending $16k+ on a 6.2 swap and turbo kit. That'd show those ecoboosts whats up.

You shouldn't need an ecu or wiring harness if you're swapping out a 5.3 in a K2 series. You'll also need the intake with MAF tho.

(Currently reseaching transplanting an LT1 into my RCSB)

Thanks for the info.

Sounds like it could get pricey at $10k+.

Maybe in the afterlife .

Too bad GM more available on all trims.

Why not just soup up the 5.3?

Supercharger + cam/dod-delete is about the same price.

Plus, I want the Cheyenne Chevy demoed at SEMA in 2013/2014 but won't produce (bastards).

Exactly. RC SB 6.2. That would be nice.

Well from crate engine depot the LT1 clocks in around $11k

A while back I saw my local GM dealer with an 'Vette' engine which I assume was the LT1 in their parts house for sale priced at $8500.
