I was thinking the other day and haven't seen a definite answer so far. But if I have to disconnect the battery or the truck loses power are my presets saved? Or will they erase whenever the truck loses power for an extended period of time?

I had my battery unhooked for 30 min. last week and all the presets and clock were saved, but the settings for radio, valet mode, etc. factory defaulted. I'm just glad I didn't have to redo all my presets!

I think most systems retain presets these days. For what it's worth my 2011 had the OE radio out for three years and they were still there when I pulled the aftermarket deck.

Great! Because I know my old aftermarket unit saved them in my last truck. I didn't know for sure if this one did. I wanted to know so I can make a list of them in case something happened lol.

Ya your radio presets are saved thankfully (would suck if it didn't since you can save up to 60 lol) but the settings are restored to default.
