Retrax PRO MX (Matte) and AMP Steps installed....

Just wanted to let you guys know I got these two installed yesterday and plan to take some pictures today and post. They both turned out amazing, still getting use to seeing steps there and using the correct jump in and out compared to sliding since I had the factory taken off when I bought it leveled out and lifted 2.5.

 

I know there hasnt been one posted on the new Retrax MX model yet from what I have seen and it was the first install of my local truck dealer who does a ton of them, they loved it and it really is bada$$ on the quality of the powercoat and texture that it will take a beating.

 

For those that have the retrax and where the water tubes run out to the back of the bed, did you add sealant or a rustoleum spray to prevent rust? I have the ultimate linings hardcore commercial spray in bed liner and they drilled right through it so just curious on what if anything I should do.

Agreed on pics. I'm ordering the matte finish one myself in about a month or so. Did you get the wide rail? I think I want the wide rail but I need them to cut it so I can use the hole for my hand when getting in the bed.

dobdabomb, Retrax told me that they won't do the cut-outs on the wide rail version....only the narrower straight rail. I'm like you and want the wide rail but would sure like the handhold. Please let us know if you find out differently.
