Traffic alerts

Just wondering a coworker recently picked up a new 15 Silverado and I was in his truck which warned him of a broken down car on the shoulder and if a toll booth was near. I have a 14 and have never had that pop up, is that new to the 15 model or is their a setting I need to adjust or a software update? I do get weather alerts though they get annoying as they continuously spam my message center for some reason

 

Same thing with an alert that tells me to tune into Howard Stern, and since he is on all the time with xm yeah it tells me every time I start my truck and I'm getting annoyed with it. Didn't see anything within the settings to switch stuff on or off so I'm clueless on how to fix it.

Yeah, I get the traffic alerts, but not the Howard Stern alerts on my 2015.
