Can the wood grain strip on doors and console be removed without damaging anything? Does door/console panel have to be removed? Thanks.

No , they just pop out of their plastic pins. Be careful when applying gentle pressure when taking the off

What would be a good remover tool? Don't want to scratch anything of course. I want to paint them or wrap them with fake leather

A set of nylon pry bars is handy for stuff like this. I have a set I used for interior trim removal for a stereo install on another vehicle. Picked them up at harbor freight for under $10 a few years ago, well worth it. I use them for anything I need to remove that would risk being scratched.

I have no idea about what it entails to remove the trim on these trucks. It looks like the just pop out though.
