Dealer Cost to Install GM/Borla Exhaust

I just purchased the GM/Borla exhaust. Can any of you that have had it installed tell me what it cost you to have the dealer install it? My dealer is quoting $175. According to the Borla website, the factory exhaust will come out in one piece if you have a lift. I can cut the exhaust, but I'd prefer to have it out in one piece.

You can get it out in one piece with a floor jack.

How much was your system? You get it from the dealer?

They charged .9 hrs to install mine.

Yep he's right you can get it out in one piece. Drop the spare tire and jack up the right rear. Not pleasant but can be done. Also shopchevy.com has the best price on those exhaust.

After shipping shopchevy was $10 more than I got it for at my dealer.

I think my parts from the dealer: exhaust and tips, came to about $1275. Labor for the muffler install and tips install were billed separately and come out to $60 total labor. They get you one way or another.

 

Did everyone else get their free BORLA ball cap that came in the box? Nice quality too.

Drop the spare and jack up right rear of truck to give you space to slide it out.
