Lowered rear / removed rear blocks

Decided to give this a try and see how it looks. Straightforward enough. Found it easiest to loosen the opposite side to allow the axle to drop enough to clear the alignment pin to get the block out, not a lot, just enough to allow some separation between the spring and axle as you jack up the body. Hardest part of the whole deal is just wrenching it by hand. My lower shop where the air compressor and air tools are set up is filled so had to pull it into the upper garage which meant hand tools. Truck still has about 1.5" rake. Aesthetics are much improved, I didn't measure the before, but it seems to have a little more clearance at the air dam. FWIW, stock u-bolts/nuts/washers are fine. There's still a lot of room in the wheelwells. Running stock 265/65-18's, kinda doubt I would go much above a 275/65-18.

I've done this to my last several trucks, I'm sure you figured out an impact wrench is a real time saver. I've always reused my ubolts and nuts and just added an extra washer. Never had any issues.
