Chosing a leveling kit for 2000 2500 (Non HD)

First I apologize in advance if this topic was already covered somewhere else in this forum as my searching skills come at a minimum, I was wondering if there is anyone out there that ever purchased a leveling kit or 3" suspension lift for a 2000 silverado 2500? To most of us it may seem pretty straight forward but it doesn't appear to be the case for this 2000 non HD 2500. I am a little confused, as most lift kits will state 2001-2007, and there isn't a whole lot out ther ethat specifically reads 2500 (nonHD). I did not know if I could just roll with, say the purchase of a 1500HD kit, or something to that effect.
