My check engine light came on yesterday and I took it to AutoZone and they pulled this code. I took it to the dealership this afternoon and they fixed it in about an hour. I have not gotten my paperwork yet regarding what was done. The service manager did tell me they relocated and replaced the vent. When I get the paperwork I will share more information. Mine is still in warranty.

I have had this code since my 2016 had 15k miles as did my '12. I took my '12 to the dealership and they told me it is very common due to our dusty rock roads and they quit replacing the parts instead they take the filter off and blow it out, should be good for 3 months, if they replace it in 3 months it will be happening again.  Later was talking to a local shop owner in the parts store and he explained to me what I needed to do to correct it and I did and never had another issue. Have yet to do it on my 2016 but I imagine it would be the same.

Alright, what I did was buy the parts linked to earlier in the thread and enough fuel line hose long enough to run from the solenoid to the engine bay on the driver side where an aux battery would be located  . First I pulled everything off then replaced the solenoid in the factory location, then ran the fuel line hose into the engine bay on the driver side where an aux battery would be located and mounted the filter there connecting the hose to the filter.

This solved the issue for me.  Hope this made sense, any questions let me know I'll try to keep an eye on this thread for a few days.

I got this code today.........I bought my 2015 Silverado last night....the only thing that sounds close to the causes I've read is last night and all of today it rained like hell. But I really don't want to put a truck I bought yesterday in the shop today. This is not a good look for Chevrolet! Can I just wait for the weather to clear up and reset the code or you tho k I would need to new relay? Anyone know the troubleshoot procedures on this?
