They are the stock tires on my camaro

Yup.. stock, expensive, and a very short tread life.

They grip pretty good though.

Don't think I'll buying the brand anymore either though.

Just today discount did a 50% buy back on the Pirellis on my Geneses sedan, they were wearing fine they just got really noisy. They didn't find anything wrong with the car, it just sounded like I had mud tires on it.

I got ~55K out of the PZeros on my 2010 Camaro SS. Still had legal tread at that time.

...but IF the deal goes through, they may very well be the LAST set of Pirellis I'll EVER buy.

55k will take me 30 yrs to hit

I got 35k on mine, that snow pic had me stranded for 6 hours at 33k miles on em. They were flat out bald in the back. (fronts looked pretty good.)

This event is why I have a truck now. (well that and.. I kinda need to be able to haul things now that I have some land again.)

...So what American or European tire will be as good or better than the stock PZeros on the Camaro.

I wouldn't decide anything against Pirelli regarding this move. If it's just because there is "China" involvement in any part, even our trucks wouldn't survive such a scrutiny. Ever wonder which company made the beautiful instrument cluster? I'll bet it's not an American or even a European brand.

Regarding another European-brand tire. Try Michelin. Their line of summer-only Pilot Sport, especially the Cup, is one of the best in the category.
