Silverado/Seirra idler & tensioner bearing life

Haven't changed a pulley yet. Had to change belt due to stone in pulley.

Gotta love plastic pulleys. I tried changing a bearing in the plastic auto parts store one I put in our Grand Marquis 8 years or so ago. Thought there looked to be a lip on both sides, like the pulley was molded in the mold machine with the bearing, but figured I'd try. Nope! Big fail on that one. :D I'll have to use the Dremel next time.

If anyone has to ask why I'd go through all this trouble rather than spend the $12 for a new one, well, then you obviously have never driven in MA before.

Whelp, the A/C tensioner bearing failed already with barely 21k miles on it. It's a 6001 - the other bearings are 6203, just FYI - I screwed up in my initial post from 2015 there.
