Fender flare thoughts?

So before I got my truck I was complelty opposed to the idea of buswacker fender flares... But now I kinda like them. I saw them on a blacked out silverado and I am thinking they may look good with the set up I'm running (20x10 -25 offset and occasionally 1.75" spacers)

Does anyone have pictures of painted matched white fender flares or any color matched fender flares? Where did you get yours and how much did you pay? Thanks guys.

I think fender flares look great on trucks with wheels and tires that extend past the body line. My only complaint about the current flares on the market is that they all are made to work in conjunction with the factory mud flaps. I didn't realize that until I purchased my EGR's and went to install them. Really wish someone made flares that required the removal of the mud flaps.

Here is the Bushwacker fender flares painted summit white. I ordered off eBay. I think I paid $475 and only $175 for color matching. These flares had me remove all mudflaps off the truck and dispose of them.

I thought most flares didn't work with the factory flaps?

One other thing I did is toke flares off and cleaned behind them. Rubber seal or not they still get road grit behind and if you don't you have to keep flares on the rest of trucks life

Well I guess I'm just a dumb ass and purchased the one kit that retains them lol.

Can you post a picture? I am looking for some flares that will let me retain the stock mud flaps.

Here is my truck with and without, the one thing I can say is make sure when you put them on you use a protective tape on the top where the rubber meets the metal. The dealer installed mine and didn't put it on so when I took them off I had to have all 4 fenders repainted due to the scratches.

Personally I will never buy a truck with them again, I used to like them but having them for a while made me feel different. I really don't like anything stuck on to my vehicles, if it's not part of the body it shouldn't be there IMHO.

You just gave me the motivation I need for nerf bars and flares. Badass! My trucks gonna get a level, a set of flares and cab length Nfabs within the next couple weeks. IMG_2875_zpst1ugwctk.jpg
