How to address rear main leak?

So had my trans rebuilt about 3 months ago and last month i noticed oil in my drive and i just found its coming from the bell housing and it appears to be the rear main. This truck has never had a leak in there as long as i've owned it and I'm thinking they may have damaged it while taking the trans out or installing it. I have a 3yr/50K warranty on the trans and only the transmission shop can service or touch the trans to keep the warranty (i've put 400 miles on since the rebuild) how do i address this, i cant believe its never leaked before but now its all over the place. Really don't wanna pay the trans shop 1K to repair this

I would sooner suspect the oil cooler adapter or oil pressure sensor, though off the top of my head I don't remember where the sensor is.

I'd try to confirm exactly where it is leaking from and go from there. With my current truck I had oil, dirt, and sludge all over the place so I had to start out with just cleaning the engine the best I could to even start figuring out where the oil was coming from. Got one leak fixed (oil cooler lines) but I have at least one more, but hopefully I've slowed it down a bit.

Don't rule out oil pan. I've done a hundred more oil pans than rear main seals. Pull the viewing plate on bell housing rotate engine so u can see through hole on flex plate see if u can see rear main leaking. Usually its back of oil pan

It tuned out to be the front axle seal, oil cooler gasket, and rear main. I also have a very small pan gasket leak but they wouldnt repair it because they aren't a repair shop

It was a trans shop who fixed the rear main, tcase leak and the front axle seal. they said because they weren't a "repair shop" they wouldn't do the oil pan.

Don't you have to drop the pan to "fix" the rear main? That's why I'm confused.

No, you have to pull the transmission. At least that's what 2 different shops have confirmed with me.

Yeah pull the trans, tcase, and flywheel
