Should I wait till May 1st for rebates, or just pay for it now?

Same here. Picked up my SLT Tuesday. Easiest auto buying experience I've ever had. Their OTD price beat my local dealer by ~$1500.

What rebates did you end up getting? Thought you couldn't combine the rebates with the low apr or something like that

 

I got GM supplier price. Plus current rebates, which are $2500 for the Denali 1500 right now. Financing is through the dealer and my credit union. I guess the dealer can get a slightly lower rate through my credit union, than I can. My rate would have been 2.25%.

Do you mind posting the breakdown of the pricing on the truck and what you ended up paying with payment down etc?

 

I screwed my credit up and can only dream of getting 2% interest Should be able to refinance next year

I don't have the paperwork handy. Thought I posted the numbers earlier. Just over 59K msrp. Supplier pricing that was about 4100 off msrp, plus 2500 off for rebates. I had a trade, so they applied about 30k.

Looks like either GMC or Laura rebates changed. I was looking at a 6.2 Denali and it went up $1,000 from last month.

Just ordered a Midnight Edition Silverado about 3 weeks ago, my dealer stated that anything is possible with incentives, but they typically go up as the model year time increases.

 

I just ordered a Midnight Edition myself, first time I've ever ordered a vehicle so I'm completely ignorant on the process, and my dealer hasn't been that helpful. He's a nice guy but all he tells me is it will take about 8-10 weeks and he'll "let me know". I think he (and maybe GM & dealers in general?) are old school and not up-to-speed with today's expectation of real-time information.

 

I was kind of hoping that I would be able to track the progress on a website or something, but I think that's still fantasy as far as GM is concerned.

 

Anyway, Desperado, can you give an update and let me know how your order process is going and what you've experienced so far? It will help me bide the time (a little). Thanks!

Only difference is I am getting a $1000 dealer discount because they wanted to keep me from going to Laura.
