Just got installed today, wanted the one with holes, was told it came with covers, but they are too big for holes, got 9 black, have been researching this, the ones on eBay are the same size, wouldn't fit either. Plan on calling GM tomorrow. Has anybody been able to fix problem. Even tried making hold a little bigger, but lip on cover isn't deep enough, and caps just pop out.??

Have the dealer order you the rubber ones. Those stupid 9 plastic ones were replaced with 9 rubber ones that fit with zero problems. I'll shoot a part # your way.

Didn't know they made rubber ones, but they would have to be smaller than the rubber ones on bottom holes, the top holes are smaller?

Ya they are smaller. For a while GM was building the upper hole bedliners with plastic plugs and they don't fit worth a damn, so they changed to rubber.

23458539 is the kit of 9 plugs.

Thank you so much for this part number, just ordered it, will be getting it on Thursday, hopefully it will work.

Called three dealers, nobody knew what was all in this part number, GMs description is horrible of it with no picture. Don't know how you found this but thanks again.

I was looking for an answer to solve my bedliner problems. I just bought my first truck. A 2014  GMC Sierra1500 but it was missing a few things. One of those being a bed liner. I found one used on craigslist without hardware to mount it or these plugs. I ordered some plugs from GM but to my dismay they only fit the lower tie down holes. I was glad to find the answer here for the right size and the right type (soft rubber) for the upper holes. But the larger covers I have also came with the mounting screws for the bed liner. Interesting screws of various sizes with a sleeve near the head that prevents the screw from fitting tight against the liner and the bed of the truck. While the fasteners were a nice surprise the lack of instructions for them were not. I really can't tell which size goes where on the bedliner. Some are larger than others and the tailgate already has screws in it and don't want to strip the threads out putting the wrong screws in. Should I use these or use something else all together?
