Question....all you guys dipping front and rear badges, are you masking them in place, or removing them. I tried removing front GMC last nite without success. Anyone?

I tape them off and do them on the truck. There are some good videos on YouTube about it

Thanks, I will check them out. Any idea if Trem-Clad clear coat can be used overtop the plastidip? Cant get the glossifier stuff in my little town.

No Lowes. Canadian tire carries similar rustoleum products but no clear coat. God hates a coward, ill just try it.my wife works at the local GM dealership, so if I wreck it, at least I can get another one wholesale, lol.

Way easier to just take the fron GMC off. its just held on with tabs. Snaps right back on when you're done. I've done it twice now.

The gmc on the front of a 2014 is held on by tabs? If that's the case I'll get mine linexed.

Ended up removing the front onr, and masking the rear. Looked so good flat I didnt bother with the clearcoat. Anyone tried dipping the A/T badges to hide the re on them?

I blacked out all my All Terrain badges. I love the look a lot better. I even did the Sierra on the tail gate
