Hey guys I just want to know what is the Best and Most appropriate Radio (Head Unit) for it I was looking on flip-out kind since we all know double-din doesn't fit without breaking plastic please post best brand pioneer, kenwood, Panasonic etc and the ones that don't cause problems by the shifter for PRND Thanks guys

i recently bought an 02 silverado and installed a Sony MEX-GS810BH. Not the best nor the worst single din out there but i had the double din version and knew exactly what i was getting. The head unit looks good and has a nice amount of features plus the smartphone app which i mostly use. Being an android uses options are limited when it comes to head units and apps so i stayed with sony. If sound quality is high on your list Pioneer makes a single din unit with an 16 band eq thats an auto audiophiles wet dream. Are you just upgrading the head unit or speakers also?

Forgot to mention that with the app im going to install my 7" tablet were the optional cd/tape player would be. In my opinion this is easy then all the work for the double din and i like the way it will look though i would like the tablet to up higher
