CIPA Towing Mirrors

CIPA Tow Mirrors (Pair), # 10950 - $45.82 on Amazon.com with free shipping.

I just bought these for my new 2014 Silverado. I installed them last night and they fit GREAT! I tried to pull them off, and tried to get them to come loose or misadjust the mirror by slamming the door and they were solid as a rock. I know they're UGLY, but to slip them on to tow my boat for the afternoon doesn't bother me. I won't leave them on all the time.

I will probably add a few more strips of 1/8" thick neoprene foam to the insides with some spray adhesive...just to make sure they don't rub through the chrome on my mirror caps.

I had CIPA clip-on tow mirrors on my '07 Tahoe and '12 Avalanche and they always worked great, but these are a much more solid design!

I have a pair to sell used 1 time. Not that they suck but I realized that I couldn't really see well out of the factory small mirrors eather so I upgraded to the tow mirrors. Let me know sitting in the garage want them gone.

Do a search there is a whole topic and how to on that subject

I actually saw a set of these slide ons on a truck yesterday and said "WTF are those?" LOL

Has anyone tried to replace there standard power mirrors on a new 2015 SILVERADO to TRAILER tow power mirrors? Wondering if i purchase OEM new trailer mirrors if there will fit and electrial plugs inter connect. BEST IN AUTO MIRRORS claims there mirrors will fit and work. $429.99 a set.

If you are interested in the upgrading your standard DL8 Mirrors to Towing Mirrors, PM me. I have helped many members achieve this upgrade with success. I make custom harnesses to allow all the functionality of Towing Mirrors work.
