5.3 exhaust

I have a 2000 GMC sierra with the 5.3. I am trying to find a muffler that i can just use a exhaust clamp to hold it on. So it need to slip over the exhisting pipe. I think these trucks have 2.75 inch exhaust. I am looking for a cherry bomb or something like it. Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at flow master or magnaflow?

Why not go for a good flowing cat back? MBRP, Borla, Corsa all make really good free flowing exhaust systems for the trucks. Don't waste your money on something just because it makes noise.
