Auto Ride Low

Got an 01 Suburban with the auto ride which has quit working several years ago. The truck seems to be sitting extra low. What would be the cause? bad shocks? Springs? Is there a fix to this without spending the $600 on new parts for the auto ride which I don't need?

its either a burned out compressor or leaky shocks/whatver they are called for the air/auto ride. I had it happen on my yukon xl denali. If its noticably leaning then you'll want to get it fixed. Check out arnott replacements. If you get the compressor replaced and the shocks are still leaking then the compressor will go out again eventually. I didnt have to fix it on my denali because it never leaned and i dont need the feature (dont put a bunch of heavy shit in the back).
