"Swoosh" sound when braking

So I recently acquired an 85 Chevy k10 short bed and have brake issues. When I brake I can hear a loud swoosh sound and if I hold my brakes long enough the pressure dissipates. I bleed all wheels and got fluid to squirt out and seems the same. Also when braking its as if only going 3/4 down it starts to brake and aqually apply pressure. What could be the problem? Thanks

Is there a leak? Does it pull to one side when braking?

Had this happened in my 99 suburban, it was the brake booster.

sounds like the power brake booster unit is failing.

No pulling when braking but can hear that swoosh and it only brakes 3/4 down and requires extensive pressure to actually slow vehicle down. Also I noticed that on both front driver/passenger that only the middle section of disc was actually being used and the outer edges of disc was being used.

Brake Booster

Got it replaced, changed brake booster and whoa so much less f

Leg pressure is needed to brake. Now onto the master cylinder cause its weak and catches at the end
