Black or Chrome Center Caps on Hyper Black wheels...

I just picked up these GM Accessory wheels. They are "Hyper Black" (black with a "mist" of silver and then clearcoat), with black inserts.

 

They came with Chrome GMC center caps.

 

I can get either Chrome Chevy caps or Black Chevy caps.

 

Opinions?

In this picture, the wheels have chrome lug nuts and chrome caps. Looks pretty good. But I agree, black makes it look like the cap is missing.

So many choices, I'd say get another set of rims so you can get black caps.

I vote for chrome.

 

Of course that may be as I have a set of chrome center caps for sale.

 

I got a set of chrome bowtie center caps for my gloss black CK162 6-spoke 22" wheels.

Before I got the wheels installed I found GM had come out with the matching gloss black

center caps, so I picked up a set of them.

 

If interested the chrome caps are $75 shipped to the lower 48. They were installed on the

wheels but were removed before the wheels went on the truck. Perfect condition.

Black, with a chrome bowtie would be ideal, but that'll take some work on your part! Or viceversa.

 

I'd probably go with Black though. I have factory 18" Chevy caps with the gold bowtie in my Black Chrome wheels, and I can't stand it. I bought Chrome cap and plasti dipped an painted over that with some greying color to try to match the Black Chrome, that didn't look good. So I peeled it all off and they are just Chrome again. I'm going to find the Black Chrome spray to match, just need to find time to get to Pepboys and buy it.

Looks good. (even dirty) Still looking around, but probably going with chrome caps and lug nuts.
