Fender flares!

So ive been wanting to get me a pair...don't know what brand tho! apparently bushwhackers u have to drill holes??? ! EWWW. what do you guys recommend?

Previous model years you didn't have to drill with bushwhacker. That's about the best brand

LUND has flares with no drilling, obviously they use double sided tape and/or pre-existing holes. If it's just tape, the Bushwackers may still work for you. The hardware store has double sided tape that can hold 25lbs, improvise.

I have the Bushwackers 1.25" flares. You have to remove any mud flaps and the aero chine on the front of the rear wheel well. You do have to drill holes, but they're in the inside edge of the well, not on the outside of the fender. You use most of the original holes and add a few.

 

Same for the 2.00" that has the faux "rivets". No drilling of the fender "face" either.

so is this true? i have some z71 mud flaps in the rear and a tire off set that sticks out a little bit. will i have to get rid of my rear flaps? my fronts are already gone due to tire size....

The factory hard molded mud flaps and aero chine at the front of the rear wheel well, all have to go. They are not flat but, contoured to the shape of the OEM wheel well outer curvature. All flares will require removing them.

 

Conventional flat type mud flaps can be installed.

You do have to remove mud flaps but does not use tape. Uses clips and factory liner screws
